beautiful wood floors and other wood products. The floor to the right has 7 different species mixed together. Mixed species floors are beautifully unique while helping to maintain the diversity of the forest ecosystem. Grown, harvested, kiln dried and turned into tongue & groove wood flooring right here in Walkertown NC. That's right - not China, not the rain forests - literally our backyard! Traditional logging methods rob a forest of its beauty & vitality and then expend huge amounts of energy shipping it around the globe. Tree-Hugger Floors travel less than 1/2 mile to go from a standing tree to a supply of high quality tongue & groove wood flooring. We produce the flooring and install. By utilizing the many species that occur naturally in the forest and only taking 1 per acre per year, we maintain a healthy habitat for our trees, the wildlife, neighbors and ourselves.
